To be fair Southampton are the best team I’ve seen at Hillsborough in a long time.
Outplayed in the first half by them.
The performance in the second half was better. A draw would’ve been a good result, but probably not the fair one.

Had the privilege of refereeing a cup final in 2019. It felt less of a privilege when I was paid 15 quid. Half of what I’d normally receive for the same game.
Petrol money for the location would’ve been ten quid alone!
Essentially £5 for a cup final. Should be much more!

He was the type of player a relegation threatened team needs. Aggressive tackles, and never stops running.
We now need to be more progressive. We can replace him with a good technical player.
