Great experience appearing live on TV on @MartinSLewis @itvMLshow tonight as their NHS pension expert Lot's of NHS pension questions received, shame we could only do a couple due to the time available You could probably do a whole show on NHS pensions!

@goldstone_tony @CapitaPB @nhs_pensions An FOI I requested on Oct 24 identified there were 18,815 practitioner members who have at least one employment not updated to 31 March 2022 Lots of delayed RPSSs!

@CasualtySurgeon Yes, they can't tell you that you have a charge. They don't have all the numbers to accurately calculate carry forward or available allowances.

I spoke to the Telegraph about another example of complex and daft rules leading to tax charges for trying to help the NHS🤦♂️ £7.5k tax for 1 shift (and this wasn't even due to AA taper!) Had their shift been a few weeks later, then there's no charge🤯
