@Zonal_Marking There’s a fetishisation of young players I think partly driven by things like FM & Fifa but also by in the increase in stats and stuff like Scouted (who are mostly excellent) But people talk about how many thousands of mins young players are playing like it’s a good thing

@rsf_mauricio @kevinhatchard I mean realistically is Peretz even that good? Like starting for Bayern week in week out good? Feels to me when Neuer retires/moves on there gonna have a Rensing/Kraft situation all over again with Peretz and Urbing.

@barneyronay I think if that was rolled out and actually enforced - rather than 1 red every 2 seasons for similar offences you’d make a significant impact on tactical fouls. The inconsistency kills though and you can understand Arsenal fans being annoyed at it in the broader context.

@Keepers_Union @RyanHudsonGK Tbf I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again The Second Tier pod is basically two lads trying to outdo each other with really shit takes. I’m pretty sure it’s mostly done for “content” or “engagement” than actually producing a good product.
