I notice it immediately when I come back to Britain. Half the people are super-bothered disapproving karens and jobsworths, mithering over nothing and making everyone miserable. It's weird. In the Nordics, people are mostly just nice/chill.

I binged the entirety of Metroid Prime when it released. I knew I'd played too much when I was walking down the street a bit sleep deprived and looked up a church and thought: "... that looks like a grapple point."

is yesterday’s game in many ways. It’s janky in a funny Skyrim way. But I’m finding it to be a very satisfying game. The world is compelling, the combat solid, the map a nice size, and there’s loads going on. Did any of you play it on release? What did you think?

: every bit as magical as I remember. Listen to that music as you discover Talon IV for the first time... waterfall spray on the visor... Samus reaching out for the rain... this completely blew my mind when this game was released, and it's still great now. :)
