If god forbid he goes on to hurt or kill with his big knife , then the judge who give this ridiculous sentence should be struck off & the victim or family should sue him for everything he has . Maybe then future judges will give appropriate sentences.

Why on gods earth do these judges give such lenient sentences for these horrific crimes ? The rape of a child should be an absolute minimum of 10 years . If he offends again strike him off & the. Victim & family sue the judge for everything he has .

Magistrates can sentence up to 2 years I believe, possibly a year . It frees up crown court for crimes with potentially longer sentences.
