Jac Caglianone’s full inning on the mound vs Georgia. I was sitting next to scouts and their radar guns had him touching 101 a couple times. He threw 10 of 14 pitches for strikes and finished with two K’s, one being a three pitch AB against UGA slugger Charlie Condon.

Josh Rivera revamped his game this year, slashing .348/.447/.617 with 19 HRs, 10 doubles and 17 RBI. He became much more selective at the plate which led him to have a 11.2% K rate. He’s an elite defender at SS and will be one of the best underslot signs. + leadership mentality

Freshman RHP Liam Peterson’s full inning vs Stetson. Really like his tempo on the mound. FB was up to 98 paired with a CB, flashed one slider to the LHH at 86. Struck out two of the three batters he faced.

I really, really like the player in Tommy Hawke for Wake Forest. He’s 5’8 but can quite literally mash against any arm in the country. Went 7-14 w/ a HR and 2 doubles against Louisville

Ty Evans finished his sophomore season hitting .239 with 9 doubles, 2 triples and 9 home runs in 49 GP. He was a huge pinch-hit contributor towards the end of the season and his playoff bat was on fire. He became the first player to hit five home runs in a single MCWS.

Colby Halter finished the season batting .247 with 9 doubles, 4 triples, 3 home runs, 30 RBI and 9 SB. The bat might not have always been there but he’s a legit defender in the infield. Robbed a handful of runs in the hot corner. Expecting him to sign, he’s an older junior.

Jac Caglianone has taken a more aggressive approach at the plate this fall and it showed against Stetson. Both his hits came off the first pitch. He launched a HR to right-center in his first AB, 448 feet, 111 mph off the bat. Then doubled again to right-center.

A FR who could make an immediate impact on the mound is Florida’s Liam Peterson. Here’s his full inning vs UGA. He’s a tall projectable RHP who has a 3-pitch mix, showed his FB which was up to 96 and a 12-6 curve. Control is key for him when it comes to logging meaningful innings

Wake Forest OF Adam Cecere is in the transfer portal. He hit .318 with 14 homers in ‘22 and was hitting .356 with 9 bombs in ‘23 before his injury. He’s a solid veteran bat for a program to pickup

& came up in huge situations. Commands the strike zone very well from his low, three-quarter slot. FB 88-93, SL 77-82, CH 82-85. Could definitely see him implemented in the wknd rotation next year. Big name for ’25 draft.

Josh Rivera is close to tying his career high in hits at 57 from ’22, but in almost half the at-bats.
He has set three career records already with his 45 runs, 46 RBI and 11 SB.

Nick Ficarrotta struck out 43 batters while walking 11 in his 39.2 IP this season. A big part of his arsenal is throwing multiple pitches from both a 3/4 and sidearm slot. Sinker induces a lot of ground balls which made him a key mid-inning reliever. FB 88-91, SL 80-82, CH 83-85
