yesterday for security reasons as the clashes reached the edge of the city. For the last few days (until the last moment of yesterday) I have been covering inside the hospital, following the brave doctors.
I was in Shushi few days ago. It was the last access possible before the clashes erupted inside city. I spent few hours with civilians, Shushi residents, who decided to stay and fight for the city. Elderlies full of stories, holding old Kalashinikov and w the best cognac ever.

The majority of those returned were Iraqi and Syrian Kurds and Yazidis, groups displaced by fighting in the region over the last two decades.
One such family has been returned back to the same camp in they had been living in for seven years, before they attempted to reach Europe.
