No child born into this world has a dream in life of homelessness. As a society, we owe it to those experiencing homelessness a helping hand. I am proud that that this week our gov’t. announced funding of $32M to help those in York Region experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. We have duty to take care of the most vulnerable, that is who we are as Canadians and where our moral compass guides us.
