L2s don’t extract value from eth the value of eth represents the value of the network. the more activity, users, builders, and tvl L2s have, the more eth will be worth. taxing L2s wouldn’t increase value as much as lowering their fees & expenses. lower fees make L2s more attractive, bringing in more users. revenue for ethereum is good, but revenue without activity is worse. people are looking for reasons why the price isn’t going up. we’re in an accumulation range due to market conditions. when it breaks out, they’ll forget all of that & praise ethereum L2s achievements. watch

2 models for ETH: money and system equity for me, it has always been system equity, only BTC in crypto really competes for money status imo I know many OG ETH guys and I respect them, they emphasized 'ETH as money' and trying to compete with Bitcoin--it didn't work imo and never will work, it's much more about perception, lore, lindyness and memetics than tokenomics Please let's build the most hardened dApp substrate instead & make ETH the extremely valuable system equity of that substrate. . .
