No one has problems with changing minor details from the books to adapt to the tv series - what people (and George) do have problems with are changing MAJOR details, i.e. Blood and Cheese, as they take away from the spectacular storytelling, and character arcs.

The daemon scene hallucinating in Harrenhal, and the Alicent/Rhaenyra scenes were absolutely fantastic scenes. However, definitely a set up episode for the big episode 4.
This is what I miss about Thrones, that we had ripped from us in season 8. This is story telling. They

In the books Harrenhal is a cursed and haunted castle, with supernatural elements to it. This episode perfectly encapsulated that. It’s preying on Daemons strongest demons. He feels an extreme amount of guilt for having Jaeherys killed. I think it’s symbolic that they used Young

8.9/10. Excellent return to form. Last two episodes have been pretty slow, refreshing to see them get some action back into it without overdoing it. Love the way they handled the sowing, and it would appear we’re nearing the end of Daemon in Luigi’s Mansion (thank the gods).
