This is not unusual. This is happening with pretty well every so called trail hunt. End-to-end trailing hunting is virtually non existent. With beagle and basset packs (foot packs hunting hares) trail laying is not even done as a smokescreen. Great report, but tip of the iceberg.

Police-hunt corruption is "open air" corruption. They don't seem to realise how visible it is. Public confidence is already low. They need to be careful. This could really tip the balance and get them in a situation where they're permanently mistrusted (like French cops are).
We attended a meet of the Avon Vale Hunt on 16/10/21, in Yatesbury. We faced blatant police bias on that day too, including being blocked from byways. This officers (now deleted) Facebook account shows she was also friends with Huntmaster Stuart Radbourne.

Sabbed these buggers years ago. Bolebroke were one of the few beagle packs that didn't pack and do the walk of shame. The huntsman would just stubbornly hunt in front of you. Look up them now.
Well done East Kent Sabs for stopping Bolebroke Beagles killing hares yesterday. Hunt spouted rubbish about trail laying but chose to go back home rather than show people what this mysterious activity looks like.
