LABOUR has savaged the UK economy, killed off economic growth and investment and are causing permanent damage to our country. They are unfit to govern.
BREAKING: The Bank of England has just published its assessment of Labour’s budget, and it’s not good news. Growth halved. Unemployment up. Inflation increasing to 3.7% Working people will suffer as a result. Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves need to get a grip.

Starmer has the audacity to tell British taxpayers they will foot the bill for his disastrous surrender deal, as he isolates the new US administration by bending the knee to Mauritius and emboldening our enemies as he compromises our national security.
Exclusive from @georgegrylls Sir Keir Starmer intends to 'push ahead' with deal to cede sovereignty to Chagos Islands and has offered significant concessions Navin Ramgoolam, Mauritius's new prime minister, said his country has been offered 'complete sovereignty' of Diego Garcia, home to a critical US military base He claimed that Starmer has effectively doubled the £9bn originally offered to Mauritius and weakened the British lease for Diego Garcia He said the new deal will frontload instalments and link them to inflation. He also said that Mauritius will now have a right to veto extending the lease He also revealed that Lord Hermer, the attorney-general, was involved in the latest round of face-to-face negotiations

A pleasure to discuss the remarkable partnership between the UK and Japan with @AmbJapanUK H.E. Hiroshi Suzuki, Japan’s Ambassador to the UK. From trade to security, our relationship with Japan is critical and we must always be looking to deepen our ties. 🇬🇧🇯🇵

@Michael_Ellis1 is spot on. These ideological compliance lawyers need to start working for the people of our sovereign country.

It was a pleasure to meet Chloe yesterday. We must do everything we can to protect those targeted by Hong Kong's vindictive National Security Law, and we must not give an inch to any transnational repression in the UK.
Thank you @pritipatel for your support for Hong Kongers in our fight against the #CCP & for discussing our colleague @Chloe_chc_25's bounty & potential policy responses. We look forward to working with you going forward!

Five years ago today, the Conservative government honoured the democratic will of the British people to deliver Brexit. As a proud patriot, I campaigned for Brexit which meant securing the sovereignty of our laws and creating a new wave of opportunities for global Britain and for the British people.

The immigration system in our country is not fit for purpose. As I said in the interview, I was not happy about the high numbers while the Conservatives were in government. Our party is now under new leadership and it is important we learn from our mistakes and how we can do things better. As a former Home Secretary, I have seen no interest whatsoever from any other political parties in understanding the system or learning these lessons. I'm pleased the Leader of the Opposition and Shadow Home Secretary have said they will develop a new plan on how to control immigration, including a hard cap on visas. This is what is needed. More words will not solve the problem.

LABOUR voted against every action and laws put forward by Conservative’s in Government to deter and remove illegal migrants. Illegal channel crossings are up 30% thanks to Labour. Labour don’t have a plan and they do not have a deterrent.
So Labour’s big idea on Borders is to keep a Conservative measure - which they opposed just 2 years ago Nothing on an immediate returns deterrent for all illegal immigrants Nothing on limiting the abuse of human rights law Nothing on mandating visa sanctions to ensure Cont

Contrary to Labour’s claims about economic growth, the Chancellor and this feeble Labour Government continue to block economic investment and growth in our infrastructure and in our region. Labour has abandoned the shovel-ready schemes I supported and helped to secure funding to deliver these schemes for the people of Essex.
