@Kait2lyn It's really nice to be treated with respect by strangers as a fat person. I was on a flight once and the tray was too tight on my belly. The thin lady next to me saw and offered her tray for me to use too. I'll never forget her kindness.

@LocalCreature Considering that everyone is bonded now, that was my conclusion as well. I would treat this situation as an open adoption for both children and try to form relationships that way. That being said, this is traumatizing. It's like an accidental kidnapping through medical.

I applied for the limited waiver Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program last fall. I just found out today that all my student loans have been forgiven. 74K is now down to a zero balance. All gone and forgiven! I'm in a happy shock.

@andrealgilmore My mother died due to subpar medical care during the winter surge. She didn't die directly from covid but I know covid killed her. Her doctors expressly told her not to go to the ER. Now she's gone. She died in her sleep from a heart issue she was never diagnosed or treated for.

My ancestors had to suffer the burning of their temples in Mexico. Some of my ancestors did the burning. All that shame and grief are all still true. And what is also true is that what's happening to Notre Dame is horrific. We can hold multiple truths together at the same time.

I've noticed that too. People say obese like it's polite and not a pathologized alienating word. Fat is a mere bodily descriptor. Obese is like you are describing a walking disease. I really dislike it.

@NateSilver538 all vaccinations are down, it was never a big proportion of vaccinations, and I'm seeing a slight J&J uptick. Here's one anecdotal point: I know someone who specifically wants J& J because they do not want to come back for a second appointment due to their needle phobia.
