The whole world has become obsessed with hatred of immigrants. Wretched refugees fleeing war and persecution are portrayed as criminals and thugs by unscrupulous politicians. Why can't people born in the rich half of the world share a little of their good fortune with others?

@FractalDoctor Yes. I was a talented coder. In all the organisations I worked for the only way up was to be a manager. I spent most of my career as a contractor.

@AnneLyons72 @SteveACooper @ClaireLuby5 Libdem support is spread much more thinly than Reform. They are active in many more constituencies and that means they get more seats. Reform support is concentrated in areas where immigration is perceived to be an issue.
