@benserrurier If you want to ski a volcano, I think most of the best and most accesible backcountry skiing is near the Lake District, from Temuco to Osorno—not too far from Bariloche. Some volcanos have ski resorts, Corralco is one of them.

@benserrurier Meh, we haven't gotten much snow near Santiago this year. The volcanos in the south could be a good option at the end of September if you like corn snow. There are still plenty of opportunities for adventure in the Andes
