I once took a Greyhound from Chicago to western South Dakota. On the bus we had a young man from Belgium who a few of us were chating with. When we reached Sioux Falls the man asked if he'd be in CA by the end of the day (it was 5 pm).
I know it was rude, but we all laughed.

Oh I've been to Europe for work numerous times and I agree out of all the countries I have visited, Spain was my favorite.
I certainly didn't see prices that cheap, or maybe my standard of living is higher than hers. But I loved the people and their attitude about life.
