I just watched the highlight vid from Huggs’ first season. Going to the Sweet 16 that year was described as “one of the best seasons in school history”. Today that’s considered a near expectation.
The standard has changed. And it’s changed BECAUSE of Bob Huggins.
He has earned a lifetime contract. This team wasn't even supposed to make the NCAA Tournament before the season started. We had two staff leave the program. I would call that a success.
