No matter how much people complain about the “fake slide”, the following things will never change:. -It was the most athletic, spectacular play of all time.-Wake lost the game by 4 scores and were shut out in the second half.-Pitt Football won the ACC, and Wake didn’t. #H2P.
Wake Forest coach Dave Clawson says the NCAA needs to review its rules on whether quarterbacks should be allowed to “fake slide” after escaping the pocket. Pitt QB Kenny Pickett used one to run for a 58-yard TD early in the ACC title game win over Wake.
