@EaterSeattle Very very very very very few of the businesses you mention here even claimed minimum wage was a reason they closed. At least as many mentioned shitty landlords. So why aren't your talking about rent gouging?

This tone is so weird to me. Ok you warned & you think ppl didn’t listen. That sucks yes but isn’t it a failure of communication… on your part? Maybe figure out why the message didn’t land? Blaming voters for not liking what you said is understandable. But it’s not politics.
So many stories of awful harm happening to people this week. We tried warning folks about this in fall 2024, only to hear excuse after excuse why people had to stay home instead of voting for Kamala Harris.
