Uziri Kenyans don't click on ads let alone buy from ads. Utapata clout but zero coins
As a proud Kenyan Somali, I strongly believe that national identification is more than just a document it is a symbol of belonging, security, and national integrity. That is why I firmly stand against granting Kenyan identification to Somali citizens from Somalia without a proper vetting process. At the same time, I believe Somali Kenyans should also be vetted to ensure that our citizenship records are accurate and that every rightful citizen is recognized. This is not about division; it is about fairness and safeguarding our countryโs future. The recent cancellation of the vetting process in Northern Kenya is deeply concerning. This is not just a bureaucratic decision it opens the door to an unchecked system where anyone can obtain Kenyan citizenship without scrutiny. No country in the world operates this way. Without proper vetting, we are essentially erasing our borders and allowing a free-for-all situation that could have serious consequences for our national security, governance, and resources. For years, there have been legitimate concerns about people from Somalia illegally acquiring Kenyan identification, making it difficult to distinguish between true citizens and those who have taken advantage of weak processes. If we do not address this issue, we risk diluting our national identity, overstretching our public services, and creating security vulnerabilities. A transparent and fair vetting system is not about discrimination it is about protecting Kenya and ensuring that every citizen gets what they rightfully deserve. I urge my fellow Kenyans to pay attention to what is happening. This is not a small issue it is a turning point for our country. If we allow this to continue, we may wake up one day in a nation where citizenship means nothing, where security is compromised, and where our future is uncertain. We must speak up, demand accountability, and push for the reinstatement of a thorough vetting process. This is about Kenyaโs sovereignty, safety, and the rights of its true citizens. @Wanjiru2027 @Kibet_bull @AokoOtieno_ @FGaitho237
