But I'm also relieved to see the number of programs willing to connect with those students and provide them with the skills to try again.

This is the cultural competency I dream of as a future provider and a present day Muslim
Ramadan is around the corner. Now is a good time to check in with Muslim pts about their fasting plans (if any) and how to adjust their med timing outside daylight hours (if they prefer).
A simple Q like “Ramadan is coming. Is there anyway I can support you?” goes a long way.

It’s been a full year and a half since my parents both battled covid simultaneously. Afterwards, my mom continued to experience serious post covid complications.

He is literally the backbone of modern-day society lol

Like most things in life, if you have not been on the receiving end of something it is *not* your place to tell the masses how that minority group felt.
9/11 is never an easy day for Americans. But as a first gen Muslim Indian immigrant, the easy days are far and few between.
Overall, Americans took 9/11 pretty calmly. Notably, there wasn't a mass outbreak of anti-Muslim sentiment and violence, which could all too easily have happened. And while GW Bush was a terrible president, to his credit he tried to calm prejudice, not feed it 2/
