Exciting news from the TRAVERSE Study! 🎉 Involving 5204 men aged 45-80 with CVD risk, the Sexual Function Study focused on 1161 with low libido. Results show that 2 years of testosterone replacement boosted sexual activity, desire, and hypogonadal symptoms, but not erectile

Honored to be presenting on behalf of the SMSNA at the AUA Urology Advocacy Summit on 7/20. I am presenting to lawmakers on Capitol Hill in support of the CONNECT for Health Act. This bill allows physicians to continue providing telehealth services w/o restrictions to patients.

The study included 5246 men aged 45 to 80 with preexisting or high risk of cardiovascular disease. They were randomly assigned testosterone gel or placebo for an average of 33 months.

Its not surprising that many patients with a history of opioid abuse suffer from signs and symptoms of low testosterone, such as low energy, depression, and sexual dysfunction.  Patients with a history of opioid use should be screened for low testosterone.
