The dog is dead “babe” but she was 16 years old when we separated and we started living together when she was less than a year old. Dogs mourn their owners being away when they go away on holiday, let alone never see them again. You have real old school mentality re: animals 🤷🏼♀️

When I separated from my husband we didn’t coparent our dog bc she was “his”, his parents bought her for him but did she think I didn’t love her anymore? 😭

Well done. I lost an unofficial uncle on Tuesday this week to cancer, he had lost the ability to speak so I, also on a whim, texted him last Saturday to tell him how I felt about him. I’m so glad for both of us that we did it in time and don’t have to live with regret ❤️
