Congress Quietly Hastens The Bankruptcy of Social Security Before Christmas... H.R. 9076 just sailed through the House and Senate. While Americans were preoccupied with the "CR" minibus, Congress just agreed to siphon $2.1 Billion dollars out of the Social Security Trust Fund through FY 2029. Hailed by many as "removing red tape," the bill officially codifies DHS rule changes related to paperwork reduction, biographical data, and unaccompanied minors at the border—potentially hiding these children deeper in the system. @RyanMattaMedia @called_out_DHS Not all bad; the bill also directs Child Services to focus on familial/kinship care, and not penalizing families for poverty. I guess that's a bonus... However, a significant portion of the funding will be directed to NGOs and government agencies (a new public-private partnership agreement) to create a visitation program for incarcerated parents. The program includes millions for staff training, planning, and program implementation. Another significant chunk of funding will be prioritized for mental health facilities for wards of the court. Given the government's track record of using foster children like lab rats, this has a problematic potential to become the next Tavistock situation. In addition, with multiple states now having shielded GAC providers from medical malpractice, expanding who can prescribe GAC, giving liability immunity for the surgical transitioning of minors, opening on-campus clinics, and allowing children to transition while in foster care, the U.S. could become Tavistock 2.0 for an entire generation. @ChoooCole @OV_Matter And, all funded by our government mandated retirement savings account. Thanks Congress! Social Security was already on track to completely run out of money by 2035, stopping SSI payments as early as 2032. However, as Title IV B-E is a reimbursement program to the states - which began under the Clinton administration - and incentivizes child removal at a rate of $3 dollars reimbursed out of SS for every $1 dollar spent by the state, you can expect SSI to dominate near-future headlines. @DOGE The new direction Congress and special interests have tossed around for SSI include the use of language such as "benefit" - as opposed to the entitlement it is - and concepts such as the adult V schedule being included for receipt of said "benefit."
