@nzeugma_ @Mylovanov Only if Russia is prepared to lose hundreds of thousands or millions more. What is the breaking point for the Russian population? They're bloodthirsty and have Kremlin propaganda to bolster them. But I think we'll be testing the limits.

@nzeugma_ @Mylovanov Remind me how many casualties Russia has? Same choice. But in their case, they're just fighting for more land. Which they don't need. Ukraine fights for survival.

@John_Hempton @scoobs777 Same. Do I think CIA has always acted appropriately over the decades? No. Am I glad they exist to counter some of the worst global terrorism and National-sponsored espionage? Yes.

@nzeugma_ @Mylovanov Like they've been heading for defeat for three days... I mean, three years? 🤣

@JohannaNyman5 Good move. 1. You don't want Russians. 2. They should suffer consequences for their actions (or inaction).

@Maytechummia I think it would be the right and honourable thing to do. It would substantially lessen the likelihood of PRC invasion via the increased certainty of US (and other ally) support. But the transactional side of Trump will say "what do I get out of it?".

@nzeugma_ @Mylovanov Resources are a bargaining chip. Being the saviour of Ukraine may appeal to Trump's ego. Or if nothing else, buy him extra influence with Western partners. Or avoid becoming embroiled in later wars if Russia wins. There are many motivations for US to continue support.

@frogstompe86741 @DrewPavlou As I said, genuine peace deals were offered in the past. Palestinians refused. Blame lies on both sides. Your dog analogy is deplorable. But if you wish, remind me what is done to rabid dogs?

@yasminalombaert They are right about immigration. The volumes are insane, inducing housing shortages, wage suppression and deteriorating social cohesion. Otherwise, I think I'd probably spit on 90% of these right-winger policies.

@frogstompe86741 @DrewPavlou Israel has contributed to the hostility via settlement encroachment. But the hatred of Jews was there right from the start. YOU cannot criticise Israel unless you accept that. Blame lies on both sides. But I think more on Hamas. Genuine peace deals were offered in the past.

@RepDonBacon As an Australian, it is refreshing to see that the Republican party still has some sensible people with integrity. Your support of Ukraine brings you honour.

@visegrad24 I agree mass migration has been a net negative. It benefits landowners, capital owners, at the expense of wage earners. It involves wage suppression, housing shortages and higher prices. But I still don't need the "MAGA style" references.

@Chocola09774961 @SariArhoHavren Ukraine was constitutionally neutral. And then it was invaded by Russia in 2014. Stop parading your ignorance for all to see.

@ZelenskyyUa Superbly explained. You are speaking a language that Trump and others within his administration understand.

@MRHDebater @qinwarrior86 @kenmoriyasu Australia has little force projection. But eight nuclear submarines will add substantially to this. How many dead Chinese sons do you consider is acceptable for an invasion of Taiwan?
