Atm Mina uses ouroboros samasika, (which is probabilistic at the tip), but likely will switch to an instant finality–enabled consensus at some point in the future (at which point it will be both succinct + no rollbacks)

Not sure I'm reading this right, but seems to me there's still lots of room to experiment, would hope we can do better than either token voting or illegibility?

One has to wonder if more democratic forms of consensus are possible? Perhaps one could weight user holdings by their square root (if identity is available as a primitive) or there could be some other schemes

Thanks for finding, reported. Any Twitter experts know a good way to get the fake one banned?

I think this is pretty exciting too; bringing more trust to money and finance made sense for crypto to do first, but there are other places that can benefit from these types of guarantees in a world with platforms and systems like AI holding increasingly broad roles
@Makalfo
Depends what you want to do? You could definitely make it so only the holder of the NFT could perform a particular action on chain - you could potentially also require the transfer of the NFT to have revealed some secret to the new owner in some private way
And this will include statements about computational correctness - but also statements about trust in general, with the potential to resolve much of the fraud and mistrust risks with digital and non-digital systems today.
@minacryptocom
@Makalfo
Has anyone made a DAO that you can only join if you've at some point held a particularly NFT? You could do that, with privacy over which account you owned the NFT with, for one. That plus soulbound tokens seems could be neat.
