if you play foils (like me) at comp real events, it’s extremely important your deck is uniform so cards aren’t marked.
tbh this deck (from recent rcq deck post) is unacceptable
mixing foils and nonfoils single sleeved with some flat and some curved cards is ridiculous

I shut down my startup earlier this year, and my work visa expired. Because I don't have a degree (I dropped out to start my co) it's not easy to get another.

Good players win their bad matchups enough to convince themselves they're not that bad, while weaker players need to get carried by their deck more

I didn't play during the SCG-IQ era, but an interesting dichotomy that I've heard from covos with players is that the IQ top-8 pins were held to a different esteem than RCQ top-8 pins.
roughly put: IQ = cool/prideful, RCQ = cringe
1) is this true?
