Most of our digital designs have such a short lifespan. So, getting to design the entrance to our brand new locker room facility was a top ten moment from last year.

Same here. So we created something similar for our high school students to catch the creative bug sooner.
Ultimately, we do work for educational institutions after all. I wish I would known I could have gained experience with my Athletics Department while I was in college.

Graphics Tip: find a font that has different weights (thickness) and variations and use it in all your graphics. Instead of having multiple fonts on one graphic, change the weight instead. Also, if you don’t follow @deancdavies and you do any sports design- you’re missing out.
One of my favourite fonts to use at the moment, many weights and a couple of variations of Dharma Gothic - but C is my go to

When I started to learn Photoshop, I'd find a few graphics I liked and tried to replicate them. Mine never looked the same but it taught me a lot about the program and design in general. That's exactly what this is, but with a head start. Check it out and sharpen your skills 📈.
