We experienced 7 outages in total today (4 in Lasalle and 3 in Amherstburg), 6 of which were caused by problems outside the Essex Powerlines area.
All power has been restored throughout Amhestburg and LaSalle.

UPDATE:The ON Government has announced that TOU rates have been lowered to the off-peak overnight and weekend rate of 10.1 cents per kWh for the next 45 days for all customers billed on TOU-pricing (residents, farmers, and small businesses) effective today.

Power has been restored to the Tecumseh area. There was a feeder locked out due to problems outside of EPL's service area, causing loss of supply. EPL crew has transferred the load to another feeder to restore power. Hydro One is still investigating the route of the problem.
