An electrical permit creates a permanent record of the electrical work that has been done in your home & ensures that work is done safely—but an unlicensed electrician cannot get one. Always hire licensed.
On a recent job we worked on we uncovered a lot of electrical issues. But you know what the biggest issue was, is that the work was not done by a licensed electrical contractor and so a permit was also never filed with the

and the work wasn't inspected.
