@SarahLongwell25 Fantastic piece. I found you via listening to Tim’s memoir on Audible. As a lifelong democrat, I needed to hear his story to understand even a tiny bit of, “How did they all get sucked in and why do they stay?” Now The Bulwark is the place I look to for honest discussion and hope
