That's a wrap on our successful Community Drives! We fundraised over $4,000 for the YCAP, distributed over 50 gifts to MHS students, and gathered many generous donations for the Resource Room. Thank you, MHS community! Pictured are all donations from the Resource Room drive.

We are interested in how people choose to deliver content, approach teaching “hard history,”& how they react to questions in general.

@fastcrayon I can’t wait for the day students walk back into my classroom! What breaks my heart is that there is an entire crew of kids this year I fear I’ll never actually get that experience with 😢.

Districts, if your teachers are 100% online and you aren't giving them a day without online classes so they can plan, grade, catch up, get support, have meetings, and help students who may need it, then please think about how that would actually help teachers be MORE effective.

@TomRichey We just started school a week ago😳. I feel so far behind. It also feels a bit inequitable to students that some schools are in week 7, we just started, and yet everyone takes the test May 6th.

@fastcrayon I talked to one mom for 33 minutes today. She had a million questions. That conversation felt like the most productive thing I’ve done all week. And, I feel like I already know her kid. 👏

@dunneteach is free and no login is required. I haven’t used it a lot yet, but it seems user friendly. I like that you can pose a question and as students respond you see each of their whitboards.
