All the women cheerfully supporting Hannah Barron - the perfectly ✨feminine✨ woman who can also hunt and fish - are today’s version of Rosie the Riveter. Pre-second wave feminism, All-American girls… who are simply confident in their own skin.

Many “conservative” young men are merely anti-woke — not temperamentally conservative. They don’t care about your personal pronouns; being politically incorrect is cool. This is the foundation for which many men, particularly young men, identify as conservative. On the other

100% agree, there have been years my mama put chocolate in her own stocking (even though my dad fully supports her as a stay at home mom and is the best father in the world). She doesn’t know it yet but I already got her stocking stuffers this year 🥹

If wives / moms are being honest. How many of them have empty stockings on Christmas unless they buy something for themselves. I fully support discourse recalibrating gender dynamics. Women can be as messed up as men. Men do neglect relationships. Their friends and wives.

You cannot convince me that owning and saving books is a waste of money/space. I own three books that belonged to my great-great-grandfather, dated in the 1920s (a history textbook and some fiction) and I cherish them. Books are a repository for history and lineage.

Absolutely this. I just got married at 22. I grew up Christian and conservative. I’ve never called myself a feminist. Heck, I wrote a homeschool senior thesis on why “Christian feminism” is untenable. But nothing has given me more sympathy for the feminist movement than this

@InezFeltscher My fiancé asked me to curl my hair before our date because he thinks it’s “prettiest that way” so I obliged. He later told me he likes my hair either straight or curly. But he knew that’s what I would prefer for pictures. 😂

Wait. The rate of “birthing people” relates to a *maternal* health crisis? People who give birth are called mothers. Mothers are women. Stop erasing us.

I’m getting married this weekend. The wedding industry is absolutely nuts imo. Plus lots and lots of opinions thrown at you. But obviously what is MOST fabulously, gloriously important is that someone who you love and who is nice to you will be at the other end of the aisle.

🧵 Women should know their rights, pure and simple. Pregnancy doesn’t preclude college students from success. At @ClemsonUniv , members of our @StudentsforLife group worked with the Title IX office to ensure the rights of pregnant students can be found on the website, to include:

Conservative women have denounced pro-contraception-access messaging as out of touch with younger generations. While Gen Z values transparency and rejects one-size-fits-all health solutions, my generation still broadly supports contraception access.

After 2.5 years of long distance, the most easy/affordable/fun dates for us have been going to museums. Art, history, science, historic homes, landmarks, you name it. Now we’re deciding on which museums to go to for our delayed (military life, whoo) honeymoon and I just 🥹🥰💘

The audacity of this professor is beyond comprehension. Can you imagine if a professor put this much time and effort into making sure female college students receive emotional + material support throughout classes if they choose to KEEP - rather than abort - their baby?
