May everyone going through the same thing find comfort in the days ahead. Things will get better. Atleast I'd like to believe it will. 😌
I lost my father too at almost the same time last year. Ironically enough, on the day of the Creamline-Choco Mucho match in the Reinforced. Talking to Ella reminded me that I’m not the only one who has lost a father, and my Dad is not the only one who has left a grieving child. But the experience of grief is as unique as every person who goes through it. The bottom line is that none of us are guaranteed time here on earth. You can have all the faith in the world but we are all just passing through, and nobody gets to know all the secrets of the universe — including when and why we go. So, choose to make the most of your precious gift of life and spend time with those you love. More than anything, that’s the message that was embedded in my heart after my Dad died. Pretty sure that’s what Ella’s doing right now. Inggit lang natin. And I’m pretty sure that Daddy Jose’s proud of her, as well as the whole team. Salamat, Sir Jose. We felt your unseen hand work its ways in some of our crucial points this season. Kahit paano, di nyo pa rin kami iniwan. Panalo na tayo. Pahinga na kayo.💘
