INFLATION #krisonomics theologizes: 1 million tons of product A imported to America is 1 million tons of product A imported to America. Tariffs, no tariffs, fiscal policy or not, monetary policy or not, DEI or not, it's still 1 million tons of product A imported to America. These 1 million tons of product A will be distributed as per the income strata in US. People who are well paid won't notice the difference. People who can barely make ends meet with 2 jobs will experience shortages of goods and services, as the 1 million tons will apportioned or rather rationed across the income strata. Unless the local supply or imports are increased, shortages will keep being felt by the bottom 50% which are not on X.

Whereas DEI imposed by Obama was atrocious for the managerial class and national security, the bottom 50% struggling to make ends meet with 2-3 jobs were not affected by it. These are the ones who donated the 2nd term to Trump. He is doing nothing for them.
