@mtgreenee I know a medical doctor who had Covid & died. He left his wife & only son who is autistic. The kid keeps on asking why they can't go to the hospital & get his dad. A friend went to visit. As soon as he rang the doorbell, the kid pushed his wheelchair hard, screaming "dad is home"

Many headlines in the past 24 hours focused on the Nikkei surpassing its 1989 peak. However, this was in USD terms. In the local currency, Japanese equities remain nearly 45% below the levels traded over 30 years despite BoJ keeping rates at zero and doing QEs for years.

@mushfiqmobarak @AtifRMian Bangladeshis, in general, are very dynamic, willing to adapt, do new things. The biggest difference between Bangladesh and its neighbors could be the inter-religious harmony. 98% belong to the same ethnic group, ~99% speak one language, ~90% have the same religion.

@thecyrusjanssen My brother went to China. One day he was coming to his hotel at 2AM and saw one young woman alone in a toll booth in a remote area. A lady from Kolkata, India, told me the fact that women aren't afraid to go anywhere anytime impressed her the most about China.

@ecomarxi I just want to make one point. The Nazis did those terrible things not only to the Jews. They did to the Poles, the Roma, and other ethnic and religious groups and, above all, to the Russians. Most of those who perished in their hands were Russians - civilians and PoWs.

If $LUCD rises substantially from its IPO price, we could get Veris + CarpX + NextFlo etc., for free.

The semiconductor market is a global industry that is likely to reach $1T in 2031 or 2032. China is projected to consume 47.5% of semiconductors globally in 2020. It is interesting Trump is willing to jeopardise this big market assuming China won't or couldn't do anything.
