What if Arc by @browsercompany integrated share sheets for all kinds of web apps?. For example "mailto" links, Slack, Twitter, etc.

Happy to finally share what @valeriekraemer and I have been working on. We believe the age of apps has reached its peak. The future of computing will be about intelligently connecting all the things in your life. This is what we’re working towards. ✨

🎨 A story about how the @joinbento brand came to be. Back in early Nov 2021, we decided to pivot towards building a place to aggregate everything you are, create and sell online. After creating first concepts, we started writing down every name idea that came to mind.

It helped Queue to reach a new record in the App Store charts!
Queue is mentioned on since yesterday!. Thank you to @pierce for featuring it in the latest Installer 🙏🏼 One of my dreams has come true, still can‘t believe my eyes

@mike_matas such a lovely site, Mike!.How the hell did you implement these smooth dragging interactions between views? 😧 Almost feels like a nice little native iOS app

@RalphTheodori Yeah the days in which you would go to the App Store to find the coolest software are long over.

@jsngr I‘ve been playing around with @createwithplay for Mac recently and it really is Xcode for Designers. You have a Figma-like UI but design with real SwiftUI components. Really feels like the future of iOS Design.

@maxrudberg I wonder if it’s also because the few extra black pixels around it allow spring animations to subtly bounce „into“ the island?.

@RobSwish Yeah making people unlearn this thing that has been common for like 30 years now is not easy. Maybe a good idea to let users toggle visibility, but start with visible as the default.

Nothing cooler than seeing people be creative on Bento and share tips with the community. And the map looks sleek 👌🏼.
Get ready for some design inspiration! . Let's dive into creating an eye-catching map view card, inspired by the creative wizards at @joinbento. ✨[THREAD]✨

@SamuelBeek The important distinction I would make is that browsers should look like an OS, not the OS like a browser. The browser innovation is how accessible it has made powerful apps, not it‘s tab based UI that was made for a completely different use case.

We‘re nominated!. If you enjoyed using Bento, it would mean a lot if you would vote for us 😊.
woah!?? we're nominated for the #goldenkittyawards💥. friends, pls vote for us and spread the word: ps: if you choose 'no code' or 'product of the year' -- either would mean the world to us 🥹💜

Our new @joinbento Spotify widgets are even cooler than I expected. Listening to the music people share on their Bentos somehow makes you feel a little closer to them, like you're listening to the same music with them. As if you're getting to know them a bit better.

Unexpected:. @arcinternet has completely replaced @Pocket for me. I now send links on my phone to Arc, so that they appear in the sidebar on my Mac where I will actually read them.

Thank you for all the nice messages everyone!. We hit the compute limit in my Supabase project which is probably the reason some of you had issues signing in with apple. Hopefully it's fixed now! 🙏.
Introducing Queue, the simplest podcast app out there. I spent the last few months using it as my daily podcast app and polishing the experience so much that I’m ready to share it with the world. (Sound on!). Here’s how it works 1/4 ⬇️

All that detail in the lens 👌🏼. If anyone is going to bring back skeumorphism it‘s gonna be either @dennisgec or @amayustak.
I've always been a big admirer of #skeuomorphism and am lucky enough to have brought this little beauty to hundreds of thousands of users. Slowly trying to bring back this craft.

How cool is it to see @UltraLinx, someone I've been following for years, mention @joinbento, a product I helped build, in his latest video?!.

This makes so much sense!. The platform on which all the innovation happens is also the only platform that's visually editable by users. Build a great UI on top of that and the possibilities are endless. And the folks at @browsercompany know a thing or two about great UIs. .

@juliusgehrig @browsercompany thanks :) I think once you realise that browsers really are operating systems, you can easily apply a lot of the inventions of macOS/windows from the last decades, but in a web context.

@joinbento @figma Can we talk about this little, massive detail? So neat, mini note/comment in hover on the Figma widget 🤩
