brand came to be.
Back in early Nov 2021, we decided to pivot towards building a place to aggregate everything you are, create and sell online.
After creating first concepts, we started writing down every name idea that came to mind.

The important distinction I would make is that browsers should look like an OS, not the OS like a browser. The browser innovation is how accessible it has made powerful apps, not it‘s tab based UI that was made for a completely different use case

For me, stuff lives in native apps on mobile (unlike desktop), so browser has different purpose here.
Noticed I use mobile browser mostly for:
- searching the web (movie cast, receipe, other info)
- reading list - send any link to Arc to read/watch later on mobile or desktop

It seemed obvious to me how the Bento logo would inevitably have to look like:
A bento box that forms the letter B with its little compartments.
So it became the official Bento logo 🎉
Here’s a 3D version of it. Maybe we’ll find a use for this somewhere, somehow? 😊

What if we would introduce traditional horizontal (sub-)tabs when selecting a tab?
That would go back to how desktop OSes work - one icon per app, but each app can have multiple tabs inside its window in case you have multiple views of that app open.
