@DENAirport Put the money and resources into improving and developing our already existing RTD infrastructure! Train needs to be 24/7 and run in 15 min increments always, maybe 10 min during peak hours. Also can it go faster lol.

@crapricorns @StructuredSucc I think other people can also be supports. Lots of us use body doubling to help perform tasks or overcome time blindness etc. So a situation where you have easy access to friends/roommates/partners/family can provide support.

@StructuredSucc Never left my home state. Then 3 yrs ago finished a PhD, got divorced, & moved across the country to live alone (for the first time). No more being a “student” + getting a diagnosis + recovering from extreme burnout that had been my life, everything is just different/hard now 🙃

@andy_muan Even if we don’t solve the issue it would be nice to just bring it more to the forefront of our scientific culture. So many people I know are in LDR or something of the like (including myself for 3 years now). Why don’t we have monthly meetings or something lol.

@JohnFetterman Lol why is everyone thinking this is a big deal? congress should represent everyday people who just have a passion for public service. Sure “dress up” for dinners, foreign dignitaries etc. otherwise I say wear your style bc it’s gonna be what you feel best (and most capable) in

Toxic labs are not rare as many want to believe. Many affected leave academia so that's why it appears to be rare. We need resources to promote healthy lab cultures and treat mental illnesses that emerge during the graduate school and postdoc years.
