I came across an interesting write-up by Prof Dr. Kunirum Osia on the issue of "Anioma/Asaba People are not Igbo" arguments, so I thought to share it here. I'm wary of the agendas of the so-called Ohanaeze Ndigbo group in the affairs of Anioma, hence my research. A thread 👇👇

Go to Aniocha North, none of the governors we’ve had in Delta state have deemed it fit to carry out a single project in the LGA, other than NYSC camp. Some communities haven’t had electricity for 20+ years. Some communities gathered funds to provide electricity for themselves.

I asked a man in my village why we build houses in a compact manner when we have lands big enough to space the houses. He said “houses spaced apart can discourage people from visiting each other” His argument made sense as I grow. We are really losing our sense of community.
