RIP Michael Apted. I met him a long time ago on a documentary about his films. He was generous in sharing stories with me from his life and projects - even offered career advice to a wide-eyed set PA. An amazing career and a kind man.

Just because Avid lets you use the ampersand, period, and comma characters in a folder or bin name doesn't mean you should. Stick to dashes, underscores or spaces. The system OS or apps don't always play nice with those characters.

Friend of mine, an accomplished film editor, wrote an amazing pilot. Could be another season of Castle Rock. The script is lean and tight. Editors have a knack for knowing what works because they begin at the end and know how to get there from the start.

I didn't know who Elsa Raven was until I read she had passed away this week. Tonight I happen to watch an episode of The A-Team and who is a guest star....Elsa Raven.
I'm sure this raises many other questions such as why am I watching A-Team but here we are.

Just watched Stargate after many years. Solid story. I'd even say worth a remake from Emmerich.
