Also, Pudgy Penguins announce a collaboration with LINE FRIENDS from South Korea, and the team burns >12B unclaimed $PENGU , ~13% of the total supply. 📜 *Topic-by-Topic Breakdown* 1⃣ XP Breakdown: While the team has clarified the XP system will be dynamic, that didn't stop people from sharing their Week 1 XP gains and theorizing. From the data, average users gained ~1500-2500 XP, while streamers gained ~3000-6000 XP. Those with pudgy & chad multipliers were able to gain almost 7000 XP in Week 1! Roughly 1000-1500 of the XP seems to also have been awarded for badges, so expect the Week 2 XP to differ as the team adjusts to feedback and less badges in Week 2. Accounts holding large sums of $PENGU also seemed to receive more XP, so it seems size does matter, at least for now. → Thoughts: Given the uncertainty and the team's focus on preventing farmers, the best strategy to gain XP for most people is likely to find a few games or apps you genuinely enjoy, and focus on using them organically. **Don't forget to verify your assets for XP bonus multiplier if you own a Big or Lil Pudgy, have any of the Chad roles in discord, or have $PENGU in non-Abstract wallets (e.g. Solana). Verification is done in Abstract discord. 2⃣ Games Breakdown: Roach Race @RoachRacingClub was the "it" game this week. Based on "trading" charts at a 1 second interval to boost or slow your roach, these quick races are highly addictive and enjoyable. Penguin Life by @play_ember was another highly anticipated game that hit the mark for some, while missing it for others. Casual gamers seemed to enjoy the simple and basic gameplay loop, while others found it too similar to existing mobile games out there. It is still in Alpha, so I expect the team will listen to feedback and add more features soon. 77-bit @the77bit made a splash with their 2nd playtest, and is an MMORPG style game to look out for. @adamscochran drew comparisons to "old livetime mmos like remaining Maplestory and Ragnarok but with a cyberpunk twist and onchain." I found myself enjoying it a lot. 3⃣ NFTs Breakdown: Gigaverse @playgigaverse by @GLHFers @0xDith showed the whole web3 space how things are done. In the face of poor market conditions, they not only kept their mint date on Monday, but also immediately sold out a 10k collection on a new chain, with a whopping 250ETH of volume on the week (#1 all time on Abstract at the time of this post). Huge props to the team. BEARISH @bearish_af also made history with the first ever mint where mint costs were exclusively paid with $PENGU. Not only that, 50% of the $PENGU raised was burned, 7.1M $PENGU , and the other 50% went to the PENGU Builder Fund. ~100ETH of volume on the week, which puts them at #2 all time on Abstract. If this is Bearish, I can't wait to see what Bullish is. Plooshy Houses for @ThePlooshies also revealed this week. With each 3D house uniquely designed, and only 454 to go around, buyers traded for traits of their liking. These houses will surely be rare and desirable when their upcoming browser game Plooshy Island goes lives. Thanks for sharing, that's good data to know. And this is after the extra +1000-1500 given out late Tuesday or Weds? I had 1097 before the extra points, got the first 6 badges, watched a few hours of streams, tipped, and tried out most of the apps. I have a 20% bonus. The team mentioned tipping gives XP, so that could be a factor. Agree with you on not focusing on xp, doing things you enjoy on the platform will be the best long run imo.
