I just saw a full audience, totally captivated by the Voices of Liberty here at Epcot. No IP’s. No characters. Not the reason why most of these people paid to come here today. But it is one of the reasons why people will continue to come back here. Balance, people. Balance.

Today I was able to cross a big item off my bucket list. I was fortunate enough to get a Harbor View room at Hotel MiraCosta and I ended up getting the very best view I’ve ever had at a hotel. This was a once in a lifetime splurge that I’m very glad I was able to make happen.

The competition has never had the trust in their creative team to be able to create the unique & park specific creations that Disney used to have. I fully understand capitalizing on your IP. But it absolutely makes no sense to not let the Imagineers create new things occasionally

I’ve got to admit that I did gasp when I first opened the curtains in my room and saw this view I filmed just afterwards. The cast member that checked me in told me that he would make sure I had a good view of the Aquashpere and he really came through.

After 37 years of continuous showings, today is the last day of full operation of one of my favorite things in any theme park: Impressions de France. It will reopen soon with alternating showings of a Beauty and the Beast Sing-A-Long. I’m thankful for every viewing I have left

Next two nights at the best Disney hotel in the world. Last time I stayed here, I didn’t think I’d ever make that splurge again. But 3 years away and a really weak yen right now made me pull the trigger. Very glad I did.

Enchantment is definitely not a bad show. The pyro is actually very good. But it had to follow Happily Ever After. Not in the same league. There is no soul to the show. I should have been in tears, I didn’t even get goosebumps. We deserved better for the 50th.

I can’t believe what just happened. I honestly cannot believe it. After weeks of constantly searching for a cancellation to pop up, I was rewarded today with a vacation package at the Fantasy Springs Hotel for July 4th!!! I’ll be staying here within the first month of operation!

The Happy Ride with Baymax is a unique situation where a mediocre attraction was built, but the cast and guests have made it something much more with pure joy. It’s hard not to smile just being around this ride when everyone is getting into it.

A perfect day in Tokyo DisneySea will include all of this and so much more. The gap between this park and the others around the world had closed in recent years. But after Fantasy Springs, that gap has grown again.

Nothing better. I don’t care if nobody watches fireworks videos or not, I always want Epcot on the 4th to show up on my Timehop. Being here on this day is always special. The best 20 seconds in any Disney fireworks production

Every time I get to ride Splash Mountain here it is a blessing and I will treat it as such. Don’t know what the future holds, but I’m going to enjoy it for as long as it’s here, hopefully a long time.

I’ve been in Tokyo DisneySea for 3 1/2 hours and it doesn’t feel like I’ve stepped foot into Tokyo DisneySea. I gotta pry myself out of Fantasy Springs to go explore the rest of the best theme park in the world. It’s kind of overwhelming how great this place is now.

One last theme park tweet for the day, I had one of my best days ever in the Magic Kingdom today. I ended up using 10 Fastpasses, which I’m pretty sure is my most ever here at Walt Disney World in the Fastpass+ era. We did all of this in 11 hours after rope dropping Big Thunder.

Hard not to get a little choked up seeing the GR on our high school football helmets this season. I can’t imagine a better way to honor Gene Ramsey for all the things he did for our sports programs over the years. He will always be missed.

It’s just sad. If there’s a problem with anything in the parks, just throw characters at it and that will fix it right? There are issues with Rivers of Light, but the score and lack of IP were NOT those issues.

Guys, if you haven’t had the peppermint cream cheese mousse at Satuli Canteen, you need to run, don’t walk. This might be the best counter service dessert I’ve ever had in a theme park. This should be on the menu permanently, not just during Christmas.

The nighttime light show at Gardens By The Bay is a highlight of any visit to Singapore. It’s amazing. Plus where else in the world can a show go from It’s A Small World right into the Super Mario Bros theme?

When the gates open in around 20 minutes, I’m headed straight for Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey and then going to Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure. Going to try and hit all the rides quickly once before enjoying and exploring the land. Waited a long time for this day to come.

What a show! It was designed so well, you honestly forget it’s Paris and they can’t use the same amount of pyro as Orlando. It uses IP that honors the region and hits all the right emotional beats.

The clock has stuck midnight on this Cinderella visit to Hotel MiraCosta. This has been the best hotel experience I’ve ever had and will ever have in my life. It’s so worth doing once in your life if you can on a visit here.

One thing that I’ve noticed today is that so many people that go to the Disney Parks nowadays are really amusement park fans that love Disney IP. I don’t say that in a demeaning way or that the way you enjoy the parks is wrong. But that’s not the same as a “theme park” fan IMO

Just had two awesome cast member interactions at Tower of Terror. This lovely CM in the pre show room loved my Tower of Terror shirt and hat and had this ready for me at the end. And then at the elevator, the CM there played the part perfectly. Great, great experiences.

I’m really glad I decided to book a room at citizenM Tower of London. When I booked here, it was a very small amount to upgrade th room view. I normally never do that, but I think I made a good decision. As a solo traveler, citizenM has a perfect room set up for me.

Well, my viewing spot evidently did make a pretty big difference. I enjoyed Believe! Sea of Dreams quite a bit more the 2nd time. I feel like this is a wonderful spot and I walked up about 10 minutes before the show started. You need to be on this side of the harbor IMO

Always great when 20K has its Fastpass area open. It’s hard to believe that such a well themed little area is usually not open because the ride usually doesn’t operate with FP.

Since so many have been interested in this, I figured I would share how it all works. When the ride when down and all of the rockets stopped at various points on the track. Then these two cast members had to manually push each rocket out, one by one. It was neat to see this.
