ALSO didn't include it in the clip, but Patrick introduces the holiday as Patrick's Day, and I find it so vindicating since as a kid I used to think the holiday was, in earnest, about the cartoon starfish. Making my Irish ancestors proud.. or at the very least confused

The Cell and Saiyan saga fights were big inspirations! I do recall pitching some things that took insp from the Broly movie, and I had wanted homage Trunks going SS after Gohan's death since that's said best friend's favorite scene and I wanted to thank her for the references
