I just don’t see it. He’s slow through his progressions and passes up NFL throws to scramble. I like Maye a lot more. He makes nfl throw after nfl throw and is still very athletic.

They missed and still built a contender with Purdy. Lance was unanimously viewed as a top 10 pick that year. If not them someone else woulda taken him early.
Also keep in mind, this was the Covid season so scouting in person wasn’t allowed and harder to evaluate talent.

LETS GOOO. This should move the odds for second overall correct?
LSU QB Jayden Daniels and WR Malik Nabers did in fact get weighed and measured for scouts at Pro Day this morning in Baton Rouge. Daniels came in at 6'3" (and change) and 210 pounds. Nabers came in a 6'0" and 199 pounds.
Both declined to be weighed or measured at the combine.
