Not everybody does which is why the consolidation is much slower here, probably. So, no I wouldn’t call it besides the point.
We probably also have more different surnames, more immigration/ethnic diversity will do that. That too slows down consolidation significantly.

Keine eigene Wohnung zu haben ist richtig nervig wenn man nach dem Masturbieren darauf warten muss dass das Badezimmer frei wird, damit man sich abwaschen kann und angeekelt im Zimmer abwartet wann das Bad endlich frei wird 😬
