@Sajjad_Razza @ai_dragonfly I haven't used VGSTUDIO. I do most of the analysis outside of dragonfly because I often do hyperparameter optimization/ training on an hpc cluster w GPUs to speed things up. Image annotation/training/segmentation can be some directly in @ai_dragonfly. Probably similar 4 VGSTUDIO.

@JasperWubs @advancedphoton @EMSLscience @jgi @cloud_zero @ajmargenot @tamasvarga @OQafoku That little aggregate is ~500 GB of data after reconstruction. Our goal is to build the tools folks need to use these instruments like an ICP in the early days. That means not just collecting the data, but processing it into a meaningful form. I hope my response makes sense!

When I started, synchrotron based XCT took 10 minutes to image an aggregate. Now it can be done in 30 sec. Big cores (8 cm x 20 cm) take longer, but can be imaged in hrs w/ new bench XCT. Not far from tractor mounted scanners.
