anyone coming from out of town gets paid first. any touring band gets paid first. if you short a touring band so you can pay your friends who jumped on the show just for fun, those bands will not want to come back and probably will not fuck with you.
touring bands should get paid. the local bands should get paid. i always try to throw some extra money at whoever drove the farthest, but unless you drew every head in the building, demanding 100% of the door money is some entitled bullshit no matter who you are. pay your locals.
