Essentially it is the messenger code that our cells use to action things but unlike DNA (the genetic code / program) it is not permanent and breaks down into its composite proteins once tue action is performed

@wendyrvm @GregDore2 The regions are behind sydney on vaccination rates so more unvaccinated would be exposed. Also importantly regional hospitals don’t have the capacity to deal with a large outbreak compared to Sydney so better to keep them Covid free till at a higher vax level

@smh This is sensible. Regional hospitals don’t have the facilities to deal with large outbreaks and the regions are in general behind Sydney on vaccination rates so better to wait till there is a higher level of regional vaccination before opening up travel from Sydney.

@juanpowerball @shauncrowe Sure but there could (and should) have been a nat response to things like travel testing etc. States rely on Fed funding so he could have forced them to fall in line but he doesn’t want the criticism if things go wrong. Can you imagine Howard or other PMs leaving it to the states

@realCarrickRyan That was a surprising choice (seems a Scomo choice) which basically seems to gift Stegall another term. Particularly when the other candidates appear to be chosen quite shrewdly and will give them a decent chance in Greenway and Para (esp given Labor’s Para choice)

I feel a lot of the rural vote for Bernie last time (and a not insignificant chunk of his vote last time, noting his past higher numbers) was more an anti-Hilary vote than necessarily pro-Bernie. This time there are options and he needs to work to win the vote

@briebriejoy This was only to those who were unemployed or furloughed. Other Australians got $1500 as tax benifits. Most Covid payments have in Aus have been mean tested not a general universal cheque so doesn’t help your argument that much (which I support btw).
