Dads been in intensive care for nearly 6 weeks now. A life long
@Arsenal
fan and ex season ticket holder. I've been updating him on every game when I see him.
We keep on praying to get him home.
The NHS staff have been unbelievable.
For one week my Dad has been in intensive care. If you pray please say a massive one for us. We need him back and miss him terribly. I'm not leaving this place without him xxxx
9th season ✅
I bloody love this club and all the fans.
I’m been going to
@StevenageFC
since the mid 80s and that was hands up the best day ever!!!!!
That was for you Dad, where ever you are ❤️
This really is outstanding, it has been giving me a massive smile all week cycling to work.
Due to be completed Friday ahead of Saturdays game.
The other two underpass have also be fully sprayed. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Today we welcomed home legend Martin Gittings our record goalscorer back to
@StevenageFC
.
So many fond memories from his playing career and the clubs highest goal scorer with 217 goals to his name.
A superb day despite the result.
Regardless of this seasons result, never ever forget we are Little Old
@StevenageFC
.
What an amazing couple of years and an amazing season we’ve had!
It’s been some ride. Long may it continue 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️
A huge thanks to all the players,
@Mark_Sampson
and staff
@StevenageFC
today.
Orryn hasnt smiled like he has today for a while.
He said it was the best day ever when we left!
Thanks all x x
After 4 weeks fighting for his life Davey Boy is awake tonight.
Thankyou for all the lovely messages over the last few weeks.
We continue this fight until we have him home x
I suppose it’s always best to go out on a high………
This guy was THE one I always wanted at the club. Thank you for everything pal.
Top baller, top bloke, not bad on bike either 😂😂😂
Good luck Noz! ❤️
Yesterday my head was the worst its been since my dads passing. Starting cancelling plans last night as I didn't want to see anyone.
Forced myself to see a good pal. Talked the usual naff and made a huge difference.
Make sure you talk, it always help x
Today we go to the coroners court for my Dads inquest. 10 months after his passing. Today we start to piece it all together and get the justice he deserves.
Role call for Villa on Sunday!
Stick me a 👍 if you are going and I’ll make sure I’m following you. I want to make sure my feed is full of
@StevenageFC
memories for days after!
My 10th year on the Mic at
@StevenageFC
this season.
I always get nervous reading this but both set of fans as always were impeccable.
We will remember them.
Last night our hero took his last breath and got his wings as an angel.
After 9 weeks of pain and suffering he is now at peace.
As a family we have lost a soul mate, husband, dad, grandad and the love of our life.
Rest in peace Dad xxx
My first football ground I was taken too by Dad in the mid 80s. He would have been 66 today.
And he went and turned the lights out 😂
Happy birthday Dad 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
Tomorrow is going to be one of those days to never forget
@StevenageFC
.
Fans of this amazing club, standing side by side, coming together as one to show respect to Ollie and send our prayers to Liam and both of their families.
If times of need people come together.
Say what you want about
@StevenageFC
but The Lamex is full of optimism pre kick off every game atm.
Full of fans ready, waiting for a bloody good game of football.
I don't think I've witnessed this ever since taking the mic.
#Projecttis
is up and running and we are looking good!
One of the hardest remembrance days for me
@StevenageFC
today. I just about made it through the reading.
A huge thanks to all the staff and superb fans who have taken time out to send messages to me or stop for a chat over the past few games.

Well if this isn’t a reason to bring your kids to
@StevenageFC
, I don’t know what is.
I managed to meet Noah just before kick off Last week and was very excited.
The future of our football club right here! 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️🔴⚪️🔴⚪️
This is simply the worst....... 3 weeks tomorrow in intensive care and 4 weeks in hospital.
He is working hard for us all. Tomorrow is another day and we will all fight to see him again. Keep it up Dad.
We carrying on praying x x x
A little bit of justice was served today for Dad. Thanks to all our friends and family who have supported us through the last year. This ones for you Dad xxxx
I promise that Dads story will be heard and justice will be done.
From walking into hospital for a standard op to his last breath has been nothing short of heart breaking. We are bits and I will fight for this all I can.
This is what
@StevenageFC
is about. Thanks to the club and players for taking time out to see the children from Lonsdale school. They were over the moon. Result was awesome, what a night!
I'm going early on this and dont care. This guy has what it takes to bring Stevenage back on track. I could talk to him all day long.
Has a plan, knows what he wants and has an understanding of what this club means to everyone who cares dearly about it.
Cant wait to be home.
6 years ago it was ratting down with rain for
@StevenageFC
vs
@Everton
in the FA Cup.
Me and my Dad stood under the Esso garage with 4 cans of lager because the mutual was ramped.
Just 1 more can with him would be the best thing ever. He gave me my love for Boro.
Miss you x
Some sad news before todays game
@StevenageFC
.
Richard Thom, a huge fan for a very long time and someone who was very influential in grass root football has sadly passed.
@KnebFC
will have a statement out later today, and at half time I will say a few words.
Rest in peace 🕊️
Stood around the tunnel today, reminiscing with a few of us that have been at the club for around 10 years.
It’s bloody amazing this.
Everything the club has done over the years is paying off.
So proud of our club!
If youre looking for a club with a huge heart you'll be hard pressed to find a better Community based club than
@StevenageFC
.
If you are local and fancy an afternoon out surrounded by the best supporters then come and support your local team.
Yesterday has highlighted how important defibrillators must be compulsory at every football ground or football match.
Due to quick thinking from lots of people a man's life was save.
Well done to everyone around that tunnel.
2 years ago we made the hardest decision to switch my Dads life support machine off after 9 weeks in ICU. He was 61 years old and there was an accident whilst undergoing a standard op.
Its been one hell of a rollercoaster emotionally, but its taught me to live for the day.
To the clown that just threw a battery pack on the pitch near me in the east terrace you really dont know the problems you cause our club.
You are no fan of this club.
What a day,
@jackssa22
smashed it with 7 minutes to go!
Well done to everyone who came and supported this World Record.
Was great to interview so many wonderful people and for a fantastic cause
@GHHospice
.
This is my mate!
If you or your pal are throwing pyros during the game
@StevenageFC
consider this!!
Every time you do this you cost the club thousands of pounds. Every single bloody time.
Money that could be put to good use at our club and a three year ban when caught.
Stop it……………
Never trust a mask!
I was told this week to keep being happy by someone that knows who I am, but isn't a close friend.
The last week I've had a difficult week mentally and if I'm honest the 'black Dog' has appeared.

Please please please learn CPR. Give everyone around you the best chance of survival possible.
It doesn't always work but be that person who will try and step up when called upon.
Results talk. I'm genuinely gutted for Revs. He knew what the club meant to every fan.
I have the upmost respect for him and what he tried to do for us.
I wish him all best in the future, he truly is one of lifes good blokes.
A video is doing the rounds this afternoon of a local kids football game today near Stevenage. In it parents are having a punch up on the sidelines. Absolutely shameful behaviour. I hope this is dealt with correctly and those involved are properly disciplined.
What a day yesterday was welcoming Martin back at The Lamex.
I have so memory found memories of him playing at Broadhall Way and also working with him briefly.
Whats your favourite memory of Martin in a boro shirt?
Thanks to every fan, member of staff and player
@StevenageFC
for everything in 2022!
You all mean so much to me, whether on match day or talking away from church.
Have a great Christmas and spend as much time you can with the people you love.
Life is precious.
Drackers x
Know this........ if youre having an off day. Its ok. Reach out to someone.
Had a stinker of a day, in tears thinking about my Dad and where he is.
My messages are always open and I'll talk to everyone. You must talk through your problems and thoughts.

Condolences to the family and friends of Andrew Parker. A big
@StevenageFC
fan and referee who has past away this week.
Today is for you Andrew. Rest in Peace.
Today we welcomed home legend Martin Gittings our record goalscorer back to
@StevenageFC
.
So many fond memories from his playing career and the clubs highest goal scorer with 217 goals to his name.
A superb day despite the result.
Over 4000 today which really helped the boys over the line.
On Tuesday Cambridge played in front of 26k at Ipswich.
Sometimes I wonder if our town appreciates that we have a sustainable football league team on the door step.
Get promoted and we really could have something.
If you are premier league s/ticket holder and need a football fix during the World Cup please consider popping down your local club to boost their gates.
Your local team can always do with a few more through the gate and you’ll always be made welcome!
