"Just kill the f***ing n***er", shouted a Man City fan behind me at Anfield today. When I turned around to question him, another one a few seats down leant forward and said to me, "If you don't like it, you can f**k off". Hope you enjoyed the game, you bitter, uneducated cavemen.

This weekend #BlackpoolAreBack in action in front of a packed Bloomfield Road at long last. It's almost 4 years since I took these photos, when their fans began to fight back. Tomorrow is a celebration for football fans everywhere.

@FootballCliches They can be seen most regularly from grounds like the Etihad, where we shoot from sunken ‘pits’ giving us that pitch-level view. Throw a 50mm f/1.4 lens in the mix & you’re off & racing.
